Sculptures of the Wild

Beneath the world’s loud turning, the quiet wild remains,

A steady, gentle heartbeat running through its ancient veins.

In the Sculptures of the Wild series, each rendering is a tribute to the earth’s forested voices. Born from fragments of glass, stone, and shimmering tesserae, these beings emerge equally from the loud heart of the wilderness, as from its hush.

My exploration of the themes within this series began with the owl, wide-eyed and luminous, a sentinel of twilight hours. Through its mosaic contours, we glimpse the quiet intelligence threaded through the natural world — the kind that waits, watches, and reveals itself slowly. Every piece in this collection honours that subtle presence: creatures shaped by the soft radiance of forest dusk.

Sculptures of the Wild  invites you to slow down and notice the quiet side of nature, where a calm, steady life is always unfolding.

Guardian of Quiet Wisdom

Stillness is the first language of the wild.

Silent as moonlit wisdom,

the owl of Lakshmi keeps vigil over fortune’s door.

It sees what the bright day hides—

that true prosperity is not gold,

but the clear-eyed grace to use it well.

In its unblinking gaze lives a reminder:

wealth must walk with awareness,

and abundance must rest on discernment.

For blessings deepen only in a heart

that knows when to hold, and when to let go.
